Happy Towel Day
If you don’t know who Arthur Dent and Zaphod Beeblebrox are, you probably won’t understand why, on the 25th of May each year, people all over the universe seem to be carrying or wearing a towel.
It’s a day of tribute to Douglas Adams and his book, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.
As the Guide says, a towel is “…about the most massively useful thing an interstellar hitchhiker can have.”
So true.
