Lev Kaplan was born on 12 May 1967 in Lugansk (Ukraine) was born and spent many years in Kiev, where he studied architecture. In 1992 he traveled with his family to Germany. He now lives in Stuttgart, where he worked as art director at an advertising agency. All his spare time he devoted to painting and graphics.
